Since Lights of Euphoria made a name for themselves with their last two studio albums „Krieg gegen die Maschinen“ and „Gegen den Strom“ (plus the EPs and singles that were subsequently released), the band took six months off to play some gigs in neighboring countries. But that doesn’t mean the German/Danish partnership has been idle.

With “Sleepwalk (the awakening)” the trio has come up with a very special idea:
An extraordinary FAN MCD, limited to 1000 copies and containing 6 tracks, will be officially released on November 4th, 2005. For one of the club mixes of the title track, “Sleepwalk”, none other than Vasi Vallis (NamNamBulu, Reaper, Frozen Plasma) took over the controls as producer, and with Kay Härtel (ex davaNtage/ Supreme Court) a very experienced and ambitioned remixer came on board.

As a special goodie, LoE also did two own remixes for this MCD, and they dared to work on a classic rock song (in two different versions) which is included as a bonus track: They prepared a new interpretation of the Chris Isaak song “Wicked Game” in their own inimitable LoE style.
The cover artwork also turned out quite individual; the band flew to Tenerife and did the photo shooting in the fascinating landscape of the lava hills.

With its 6 tracks and the masterly visual presentation, this MCD is a must have for all LoE fans.
