KLANGFUSION Vol.1 is an exclusive melange of two brand new MCDs: [:SITD:]’s “kreuz:gang” and Painbastard’s “Nyctophobia”. This combined release serves as a harbinger for the upcoming albums “Bestie: Mensch” by [:SITD:] and “Borderline” by Painbastard, and it is also a brilliant overture for [:SITD:]’s Bestie Mensch Tour 2007 – feat. Painbastard & special guest Destroid.

The two MCDs will not be available in the shops on their own, only in this special combination. The KLANGFUSION 2 MCD set – packaged in an attractive six panel digipak and cardboard slipcase – is limited to 3000 and contains 18 Tracks (eight by [:SITD:], ten by Painbastard) – a total runtime of almost 100 minutes. And this set offers more than just the regular music by both projects; to create something very special here, not just [:SITD:] and Painbastard have collaborated and remixed each others tracks, they also asked their label patrons and friends for contributions. The list of collaborators reads like a Who is who of Germany’s dark wave scene: Diary of Dreams, Assemblage 23, In The Nursery, Diorama feat. Klangstabil & Va:See, Rotersand, This Morn’Omnia, Angels & Agony, Agonoize, Supreme Court and Straftanz.

A unique highlight of this upcoming double MCD will certainly be the exclusive Painbastard remix of Diary of Dreams classic “MenschFeind”, containing new original vocals by Adrian Hates himself. And even though KLANGFUSION is a conjunction of two MCDs by two very different bands, their spiritual kinship creates an absolutely homogeneous uber-release of unequaled quality.
